Chairman and President: Pat Hundley

Pat has been coming to Costa Rica since 2002 and is the primary management member for Daystar Properties here in Jaco. Daystar’s focus is real estate development and property management of its resort developments in Jaco Beach, Costa Rica. Properties include La Paloma Blanca, Bahia Azul, Bahia Encantada and Diamante Del Sol. Pat has been a successful developer since 1990. His 17 years of extensive experience in real estate development and management began with founding and managing a mortgage company with over 150 employees in multiple offices. Mr. Hundley then established an appraisal company, and a real estate brokerage. He holds numerous professional licenses including his builder¹s license in the state of Michigan. For Daystar Properties, he leads a team of trusted finance and development professionals with years of experience. Mr. Hundley attended Aquinas College in Grand Rapids, Michigan

Luis is a native Costa Rican who has been living all of his life here in Jaco. Luis currently is the broker/owner of REMAX offices in Jaco, Herradura Bay and Hermosa. He is currently a member of the Costa Rica Chamber of Realtors, the USA National Association of Realtors and a Certified International Property Specialist. Luis has worked closely with the Tourism Board since 2000 and has served the community since 1998 .Previously, Luis has owned and managed several tourism related businesses such as a small hotel, surf shop, restaurants, bars, tourist info centers & an international travel agency. Luis opened one of the first Real Estate brokerage firms in Jaco in 1994 ‘Ticos Real Estate’ and founded Costa Rica Connections in 1998.

From 1998, Brad has been commuting between Costa Rica and his home in eastern Canada. In 2003 he was granted residency and since then has lived full time in Costa Rica. He is a principal in VistaCR, the realty and development company that completed Vista Mar, the first high rise condominium in Jaco Beach. Now under construction is the 16 floor Vista Las Palmas development and the soon to be released Vista Azul Residencias. Brad has an Honours degree in Business Administration from the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario, and has been successfully self-employed since university. He has a construction, garden center and administration background. His former companies employed in excess of 100 employees, and he is now applying his accumulated business management experience to the Vista CR projects in Jaco.

Gaby is originally from Curridabat, Costa Rica. Gaby has lived in Jaco for the past six years and has been very active in the community working as a teacher at Escuela Immaculada and has been giving private English lessons. Gaby has experience managing a local attorney’s office and experience working for a local property management company in Los Suenos. Before coming to Jaco, Gaby worked for 6 years teaching first grade and pre-school at Saint Peter’s School. She has a bachelor degree in elementary education and a bachelor degree in Pre-School from Latina University in San Pedro Costa Rica.
