WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY IS A DAY DESIGNATED BY THE UNITED NATIONS to stimulate awareness of the environment and enhance political attention and public action to help protect the environment. The local Municipality is planning a Tree Planting activity for Friday June 3rd to commemorate this day. The activity will begin in front of Maxi Bodega at 8am.
