The local emergency commission spearheaded by Andrea Villalobos and comprised of Bomberos Jaco, Cruz Roja, Policias de Garabito, and the members of the Chamber of Commerce worked well together to assist those in need. Extra special thanks goes to Juan Carlos Chavez, Federico Arias and Karla Campos from Pacific Law, Gabriela Arias Chacon from the Chamber, Sarah Perez, Siria Beatriz and Alfredo Mora from Daystar Properties and Jaco Canopy Tour who worked round the clock setting up a temporary shelter. As the weather started to clear, it was great to see many of the Garabito business community collecting supplies for those in need; among the few were Jeff Fisher from CRBeach, Johnny from Photocopy Jaco, Chris from Los Amigos and the crew at Claritas.
