“In February, 2010, in coordination with the Municipality of Garabito, the Instituto Costarricense de Electricidad and the Management of the Wildlife Refuge Playa Hermosa Punta Mala, the ambitious project to equip the Refuge with telephone lines, internet and electricity was undertaken. Thanks to the leading role played by the Municipality of Garabito, the cable connection became a reality. Today after years of waiting: the Wildlife Refuge Playa Hermosa finally has a telephone line!
