The past month brought alot of issues to the zone and we are thankful that we had such a wonderful community outpouring of aid. The local emergency commission spearheaded by Andrea Villalobos and comprised of Bomberos Jaco, Cruz Roja, Policias de Garabito, and the members of the Chamber of Commerce worked well together to assist those in need. Extra special thanks goes to the following for working round the clock setting up a temporary shelter. As the weather started to clear, it was great to see many of the Garabito business community collecting supplies for those in need--We are blessed to have such wonderful support in Jaco!
