The INS as part of their customer retention policy, has developed a product for cars insurance called FAMILY CAR PLAN. Through this plan, the INS following discounts apply to policies:
- 50% discount for groups of 2 or 3 family members who have auto policies or who will sign it, and
- 55% discount for family groups of 4 or more members.
As Family Group has defined the INS are all those people who have a degree of relationship by consanguinity or affinity up to third grade. The above mentioned discount would apply to each of the policies of the members of the family. If for any reason a member included in the FAMILY PLAN want to get out of it, the INS will recognize the bonus (discount) that had individual character before entering the Plan. This benefit applies even when cars are on behalf of corporations, provided that the society belongs to one of those interested in signing the family plan.
Additionally, they can be included in this plan:
- Vehicles that are under lease contracts (while the Tenant is one of the members of the family), and
- Vehicles are financed by public or private banks and insurance are managed by the same banks.
The most important requirement to ensure the vehicle or include as part of the FAMILY PLAN is that it has a personal use, regardless of whether it is a motorcycle, car, pick up, etc.
