Every year, thousands of animals are killed trying to cross the street and the Hermosa Beach area is no exception. In fact this area has a higher traffic of wild animals due to the proximity of the Wildlife Refuge Playa Hermosa – Punta Mala and Laguna Pochotal. Following this issue the idea of marking the route with 6 labels each with a different animal from which most have been observed in the area. Mitzam Fontiveros has taken the lead on this project and is looking for sponsors to "buy a sign" and belong to this environmental awareness campaign. Each sign will have 6 spaces. Each space has a value of $38. A business can buy one, two or all of a signal space where your logo and information displayed. The campaign called "Now I see" will be supported by articles in different media with the aim of spreading the initiative of private enterprise and community awareness for development of the sector. This campaign will help support tourism and show that, despite everything we still have free wild animals in this environment and a community of individuals and companies aware of this.
