The Chamber is working on the first official Chamber of Commerce Costa Rican Map that will feature Herradura, Jaco and Hermosa,highlighting the Central Pacific zone. This map will be recognized by CANATUR: The National Chamber of Tourism of Costa Rica which was founded in 1974 as a nonprofit organization with the primary purpose of integrating the private tourism initiative. CANATUR is the Costa Rican entity designated to bring together the most senior of the chambers and associations in the country. CANATUR's members represent the national tourism industry here in Costa Rica. This map will be distributed not only thru their office which is located 400 meters west from the Casa Presidencial, Zapote, San Jose but also thru the& Juan Santamaria International Airport (SJO). We are first approaching our members and offering advertising space on the back of this map. There are a total of 40 spots that are sized 15cm x 7cm; 5000 copies are going to be printed. The cost for this advertisement is $130 per 5000 copies of the map; It will be offered 2x per year in July and December. Each time costs $130. The deadline for the first map is July 15th and the amount must be paid in full at this time. Each member will be called to confirm if the member would like a spot.
