TEATRO JACO WILL BE HOLDING AUDITIONS AT THE OCEANS CENTER!!! With the new Oceans Center almost completed, Pat Hundley from DayStar Properties and Darren Lee Cole, co-owner of the SoHo Playhouse in New York City and founder of Teatro Jaco have announced plans to bring "A Christmas Carol" to Jaco December 20th-30th. For this reason Teatro Jaco is inviting you to participate in the auditions!!! Children up to 16 years old should prepare part of a song not longer than 1 minutes to sing (it does not have to be Christmas themed) or a very short monologue to perform. There will be no musical accompaniment provided. Adults should also prepare a short excerpt from a song not longer than 1 minute (singers) or a 1 minute monologue (actors). Musicians should prepare a 2 min. keyboard percussion solo with two and four mallets. There will be very few percussion instruments available so musicians are encouraged to bring their own. All auditioners are encouraged to let them know of any previous experience.
