THIS 2010 HAS BEEN GREAT FOR THE PROTECTION OF SEA TURTLES IN THE NATIONAL WILDLIFE REFUGE HERMOSA BEACH - PUNTA MALA

Last year they collected 758 nests with 57000 eggs and on September 28th, 2010 had already collected over 787 nests with 78000 eggs. It is estimated that in mid-October, the nursery with a capacity for 1100 will be completely filled nests and will feature a collection of 110,000 eggs. Such a record never achieved in the Refuge.
