Every year, thousands of animals are killed trying to cross the street and the Hermosa Beach area is no exception. In fact this area has a higher traffic of wild animals due to the proximity of the Wildlife Refuge Playa Hermosa – Punta Mala and Laguna Pochotal. Following this issue the idea of marking the route with 6 labels each with a different animal from which most have been observed in the area. Mitzam Fontiveros has taken the lead on this project and is looking for sponsors to "buy a sign" and belong to this environmental awareness campaign. Each sign will have 6 spaces. Each space has a value of $38. A business can buy one, two or all of a signal space where your logo and information displayed.
