LIBRARY JACO WILL BE HOLDING A CHESS FRIENDLY TOURNAMENT on November 19th, 2011 at 1:30pm. Registration cost 1,000 colones ($2). Small cash prizes!!! This tournament will be for kids, teens and adults who know how to play. Bring your chess set if you have one! LIBRARY OF JACO NEEDS volunteers for: label books/make labels, enter the books into their system, translate English info into Spanish, sewing projects (bean  bag chairs, hand puppets, book holders to hang on the wall with clear plastic pockets), organizing committees ( fundraiser, activities, workshops, English, photography, health…), help man the library while they are on their trip.
