Group Events

In Jaco, on October 22nd, there was a Community Cleanup Campaign and Tree Planting organized by the Ecological Blue Flag Committee, the Municipality of Garabito and the Central Pacific Chamber of Commerce. Also it was held a garbage collection campaign against Dengue. This event started in front of Maxibodega facilities with the words of Ms. Sonia Alvarado, President of the Ecological Blue Flag, Mr. Freddy Castro, City Council President, and Mr. Marvin Elizondo, Mayor of Garabito. In addition the words of the doctor in charge of the Campaign against Dengue.

The Central Pacific Men’s Group is under the auspices of the Central Pacific Chamber of Commerce and forming a Men’s Group. Their mission is to provide positive support to the community. Their second scheduled meeting is Thursday May 27th, and will be at The Hotel Balcon del Mar from 9AM until 11AM. The group welcomes all local men. This is a great opportunity to network your business or to obtain information on community affairs or just to get to know your neighbors.
