Several months ago, THE CENTRAL PACIFIC CHAMBER OF COMMERCE, in its effort to improve the safety of the canton, created a Security Commission, which consists of active members of the Chamber and the following security related institutions: Fuerza Pública, Tourist Police and Municipal Police.  Thanks to the teamwork of the commission and people interested in improving the safety of Garabito, the Commission was able to accept the donation of eight bikes and six radio communicators.  These donations will be used to provide a greater presence of Fuerza Publica and Municipal Po
