LIBRARY JACO WILL BE HOLDING A CHESS FRIENDLY TOURNAMENT on November 19th, 2011 at 1:30pm. Registration cost 1,000 colones ($2). Small cash prizes!!! This tournament will be for kids, teens and adults who know how to play. Bring your chess set if you have one! BOX BROWN PASTRY WILL BE HOLDING A DRAWING CONTEST FOR CHILDREN FROM 4 TO 14 YEARS. The theme to qualify is: Shapes and Colors of Jaco. Registration will be available from November 22nd to 25th, 2011 from 2pm to 6pm at Brown Box Pastry located across from the Park of Jaco. Brown Box provides all participants with the materials for designing the art. The cost per participant is 1,000 colones that will be used to buy some materials for the Hacienda School.
