ON SATURDAY NOVEMBER 19th AND UNDER THE THEME "ORDINARY PEOPLE, DOINGEXTRAORDINARY THINGS", JACO WILL HOST THE TROPICAL ADVENTURE SERIES 2011 (TAS JACO 2011). The TAS JACO 2011 will be the fifth and final race of the national Adventure Race series. This is the first time Jaco receives a sport so appealing, which has generated great expectations among competitors, fans and sponsors.  An adventure race, and you can see it at the TAS JACO 2011, is a race that combine the disciplines of trekking, mountain biking, kayaking, ropes, special challenges and orienteering. At the TAS JACO 2011, PRO competitors begin the race at 8:00 in the morning and they are expected to arrive by the sunset and over. Beginners and amateurs may participate in the recreational category.

BOX BROWN PASTRY WILL BE HOLDING A DRAWING CONTEST FOR CHILDREN FROM 4 TO 14 YEARS. The theme to qualify is: Shapes and Colors of Jaco. Registration will be available from November 22nd to 25th, 2011 from 2pm to 6pm at Brown Box Pastry located across from the Park of Jaco. Brown Box provides all participants with the materials for designing the art. The cost per participant is 1,000 colones that will be used to buy some materials for the Hacienda School.
